Dr. Jeff Pendleton
Jeff Pendleton, D.V.M. graduated from Allegheny College in 1985 and Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. A native of Erie, PA, he and his wife, Evelyn, moved to Lancaster in 1995 and started Harrisburg Pike Animal Hospital, LLC the following year. Their family consists of their three children: James, Scott, and Diana; three dogs, and two cats. In his spare time, Dr. Pendleton enjoys jogging, reading history books, and skiing.
Diana
Diana is in vet school at the University of Minnesota following in her dad's footsteps. You may see her around while she's on her breaks from school. She has a paralyzed French Bulldog named Sosa and a orange tabby named Goose. In her free time, she likes to train for marathons, read, and spend time outdoors.
Jessica
My name is Jessica Urban and I'm the office manager at Harrisburg Pike Animal Hospital, LLC. I've worked here since October 2000. My love for animals developed at an early age from growing up on my family's 86-acre farm. I currently live in Columbia with my husband, Matthew, our daughter, Anya, and our son, Austin. We live with three dogs, four cats, three turtles, and multiple carnival fish!! As well as the numerous animals that come to stay with us through my business, Your Place or Mine Pet Sitting, Inc.
Kate
Beginning as a 14 year old volunteer, Kate has been a part of HPAH since 1998. For over 25 years, Kate has worked for Dr. Pendleton as a technician, and is currently going to school to get her certification. She also manages a small zoo in her apartment that includes rats, cats, and a snake.
Marie
Hi! My name is Marie and I am a crazy cat lady. I have worked at HPAH for 8 years. I have a little girl who is way taller than me! She also loves animals so you may see her tag along with me sometimes. I have six cats at home and sometimes foster others. I also have one dog, who is allergic to life, which keeps me on my toes! In my spare time I enjoy caring for the many plants I've adopted.
Brittany
I first started working with animals at a dog rescue back in 2015 where I got my first taste of veterinary medicine a few years in. Eventually moved on to working at HPAH in December of 2022. I have three cats, a Brazilian black tarantula, two bearded dragons, a ball python, and a California King snake. Some of my favorite past times are video games, sporting clays, hunting, and classic cars.
Mandy
Hi! I've been working with animals since 2021, but started my life adventure in film and media. I love to do photography in my free time and can't wait to help bring Harrisburg Pike's digital platform to life! I have a Jack Russel mix and a longhair orange tabby at home but I can't wait to meet and spoil your pets!
Krystal
Hi! I grew up in Idaho with a dog and two cats and moved to the area in March 2024. I graduated from University of Idaho (U of I) with a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science in 2023. I have been working in a veterinary clinic since 2021. I am planning to continue my education by obtaining my certification to become a certified veterinarian technician.
Gabby
I graduated from the Willow Street CTC in 2020 as a certified veterinary assistant. I started working with animals in 2021 by taking a retail position at a pet store. Later, in July of 2024, I began working HPAH. I also work part-time at another pet store. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and love to spoil other people's dogs by dog sitting. At home, I have a blue nose pit bull who I adore and shower with love. I can't wait to do the same for your pet!
